Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan’s $7 Million Palo Alto Home

New parents Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan’s Palo Alto home definitely reflects the couple’s down to earth personalities. Despite the home’s $7 million price tag, its design is rather simple and reminiscent of an average family home.

The home spans 5,000 sq ft  and is set on 17,000+ square feet grounds.

Interesting to note, when Zuckerberg bought the house back in 2011, he also purchased four nearby homes and leased them back to the owners. The purpose of which was to control who lives near him. While the move may seem unorthodox, it was in response to an incident where a developer tried to develop a property nearby that Zuckerberg felt would be in invasion of his privacy.
